Our Junior Success Stories celebrate young players who have shown remarkable growth, skill development, and passion for the game at Aceway Tennis Academy.
Eli
Eli’s tennis journey began at the age of 5, and since then, he has excelled in numerous national junior club leagues and been selected for Gloucestershire county training. After completing his Tennis Leaders course, Eli now volunteers every Sunday, helping with youth groups and inspiring younger players as a true role model. His dedication and passion for the sport continue to make a positive impact both on and off the court.
Alex
Alex started playing tennis at the age of 5 and quickly made a name for herself, being selected to represent Gloucestershire in the Under 8 County Cup. She was ranked number 1 multiple times in our National Junior Club League, showcasing her dedication and skill. Today, Alex continues to enjoy the game and remains a passionate and motivated player, inspiring others along the way.
Haydn
Haydn began his tennis journey at the age of 5 and quickly progressed through youth Red, Orange, and Green tournaments, showing impressive skill and determination. He also completed his Tennis Leaders course, demonstrating leadership both on and off the court. As part of his Duke of Edinburgh Award, Haydn chose tennis as his physical sport, further showcasing his commitment to the game and his personal development.
Abigail
Abigail joined us in 2024, and in just one year, she has become one of our top Orange Ball players. Her dedication and hard work earned her both the Most Improved Girl Player and Player of the Month awards. We’re excited to see her continue to grow, enjoy the game, and potentially take on tournaments in the future!
Ryan
Ryan joined us in 2024, and in just one year, he has become one of our standout Orange and Green Ball players. His commitment to improving has led him to take tennis lessons at school, further fueling his passion for the sport. Our goal for Ryan is to see him compete in Orange Ball tournaments this year, and we’re excited to support his continued progress!
Seren
Seren joined us in 2023, and over the past year, she has grown tremendously in both skill and confidence. Her dedication led her to complete her Tennis Leaders course, and she now volunteers at her school’s tennis club, helping others improve their game. We’re proud of Seren’s progress and her commitment to both playing and supporting the sport!

Matt
Matt joined us in 2024 with a passion for improving his game, and in just under a year, he has become one of our most consistent adult players. His dedication earned him the 'Adult Player of the Month' award, and he's been a regular competitor in our doubles events.
Maple
Maple joined us in 2024 as a complete beginner.. In just over 8 months, her dedication and hard work have paid off—she's now hitting the ball consistently and accurately, and is confidently holding her own against other players at our social sessions and doubles events.
Cath
Cath joined us in 2024 as an intermediate player looking to sharpen her skills through private lessons. Fast forward to today, and is now actively participating in our adult groups and cardio tennis sessions. She’s also proudly representing her tennis club in both the adult winter and summer leagues.
Paul
Paul joined us four years ago as an intermediate player eager to take his game to the next level with private lessons. Since then, he now proudly represents his club in both the winter and summer leagues. On top of that, Paul has excelled in the singles park league, finishing at the top of his box.
Nina
Nina has been a valued member of our tennis community for several years. Through her regular private lessons, participation in our social sessions, she has become a standout player. Nina is also a proud representative of her club in the ladies’ doubles summer league.
Ilyas
Ilyas joined us in 2024 as a complete beginner, determined to learn and improve. Today, Ilyas is confidently playing with some of our intermediate and advanced players, holding his own on the court and showcasing the skills he's developed.
